Jeffrey Brenner is a highly accomplished senior executive with more than 35 years of experience in M&A and in managing the financial and operational functions of major corporations, as well as emerging and midsize entrepreneurial companies. Prior to joining Capital Business Solutions, Jeff served as a fractional CFO, an overall adviser to early stage and middle market companies, and during the last 10 years as an investment banker focusing on M&A and capital raising activities.

Jeff’s focus on increasing profitability, increasing cash flow, and increasing operational efficiency enables him to formulate big picture M&A strategy with the details needed to achieve the best results for every client. His detailed focus on profits, processes, and people that he brings to each client has produced consistent results in the areas of M&A and capital raising

Jeff’s M&A background has enabled him to lead efforts selling many privately owned companies. Most recently Jeff led the efforts to sell a $75 million logistics company, a $125 million home furnishing company, a $5 million transportation company, as well as many capital raising projects amounting to over $100 million in funds for clients.

Prior to joining Capital Business Solutions, Jeff was an investment banker at CSuite Impact LLC and Midcap Advisors Inc, with a focus on the Supply Chain and Logistics industries. Prior to that, Jeff founded CFO Advisory Services and during his 23 years leading that company worked in over 10 different industries and for 25 different companies, and successfully completed over 15 M&A and capital raising projects for his clients.

During Jeff’s career he also held the positions of CFO & COO of IBS Interactive, an internet company that he took public. In addition, he was CFO of Database America, a major direct marketing database company, and Director of Finance and Administration, Employer Services Division, for ADP Inc. At these companies Jeff was responsible for the areas of finance, HR, technology, marketing, and mergers and acquisitions.

In 2012 Jeff was nominated by a major regional CPA firm and selected as a finalist for the NJBIZ CFO of the Year for Private Companies up to $50 million in revenue.

Jeff earned his BBA degree from George Washington University in Marketing and Finance and his MBA from City College of New York in Accounting.

Jeff grew up in New York and currently resides in Somerset New Jersey, near Rutgers University.
